ACE industrial gas springs (push type) protect samples in an incubator, which is used for chemical and biochemical applications. The plexiglass hood, under which valuable laboratory equipment is stored, is held securely in the open and closed position by two maintenance-free, ready-to-install ACE industrial gas springs (push type) from the GS-8 to GS-70 product family. With an end-position damping of 0.20 inch and an extension force of 2.25 to 40.5 lbs, they help to handle the forces generated. The hood is always easily opened and remains in this position. It also remains securely shut when the incubator is in operation.
